It's an ad I guess from last year that they still honor. The KC Royals made the series last year. First time making the playoffs and the series since 1985. Royals fans that have suffered really crappy ball for a long time will never forget last season.

Gotcha! Always liked KC Royals as an underdog franchise...and one of my bucket list items is to visit Harry Epstein's store some day.

I travel for my job, but not to KC yet...!

I remember the George Brett pine tar incident in 1983. We were watching the game on the kitchen TV set and having dinner.

It's a cool store. But I will say this, don't be in a hurry. It's jam packed. I actually bought my Wilde pliers there, Wilde pick set,,CHEAP USA craftsman 10 and 12 in scratched adjustable wrench. And... A saddle blanket. It's that kind of place. I live an hour south of them. My wife and kids actually like going there because they have just a bunch of odd stuff

Oh yeah also some Husky short screwdrivers. I asked how many he had in stock. His words, a semi trailer worth.

Every place has it's positives. You have my favorite beer. And close to water... But we are all lucky via the internet to have them. They are prideful in their USA offering.

George Brett's quote. "Thank god for that game, all of KC Forgot about my hemeroid problem"

I will never take for granted that we are a stone's throw from the ocean, and that my kids are growing up here.

But more importantly, what is your favorite beer??? :scared:

Don't laugh... Yuengling. U.S. Born and made. Enjoying one now. Ok it's my favorite domestic. Favorite ranges from cold and free to very expensive. But it's my go to east of the Mississippi. In KS boulevard brewing company is very popular. But they are no longer a U.S. Company either.

At least Boulevard sold to a family owned company in Duvel Moortgat and not someone like AB Inbev.

Yuengling is the oldest continuous brewery in the USA. That's pretty cool. And it's good beer IMO!

I do agree. And they have laid folks off. Just saying I hate that they had to sell overseas. The good news, they pump a lot of money into KC. I am not a hater at all but I work for a U.S. Manufacturer with 100% U.S. Content. We are NOT the low cost leader in what we sell. It is a premium product at a fair price. Higher than the China competition. So, I support other U.S. Brethren. It took me 20 years to explain to my wife that if everyone went cheap every time then her and I wouldn't have a house to live in. She now AWESOMELY looks at the COO on stuff. And now she understands why I buy USA.
