Wilde tools still made here in the good’O U.S. of A !

Anyone else here have any Wilde tools and have any comments, opinions, reviews, etc. on them?

Just received my order for two different types of Wilde tools, in this mornings mail, from everyone’s favorite place, Harry J. Epstein Co.

Good’O Epsteins’ with their “excellent, excellent customer service and speedy mailing!”

I love the acetate handles that Wilde produces for their particular scrapers’s and picks’s.F3DD2DF2-ACE4-42F9-8DC7-7218A852D07D.jpg27C64F3F-8E45-445E-8051-657C9DECB7B1.jpgB09AC327-142E-4437-987D-31DA7ACA4101.jpg9D0A0148-66C9-4E8C-9141-AF24D10489C0.jpg26C64FE9-085F-4ADE-B585-9012BD3329F4.jpgimage001.jpg

Looks good! I've been shopping for strike handle pry bar sets and Wilde is right at the top of my list. Made in USA and at a very reasonable price. Congrats on your haul.

I don't have any Wilde tools that aren't rebrands or private labelled. I've got the striking pry bars under Tekton and Craftsman branding and other Craftsman items with the P code like the gasket scraper set. I don't have any complaints.

I'm a fan of their flush fastener slip-joint pliers. I have them in 6 1/2", 8", and 10". Great quality and very reasonably priced.

They just built a Menards near me in Cleveland (another one soon to be opened up east of cleveland in Mentor, too) and they had a bunch of wilde tools there.. I think it was mostly chisel/punches.

I have that backwards scraper and its helped me out a few times

I have craftsman rebranded pry bars, some punches and chisels by Wilde. And this small set of fluted extractors, frankly, I'm not sure they work any better than much cheaper Chinese extractors.

I remember once searched about Wilde on my wife's Bloomberg terminal . Wilde seems a very small company with less than 50 people.

I saw in my Walmart in Van Buren AR some pry bars that have strike caps on them that have the Wilde stamp on them. They are the Hyper Tough brand.

I have their 36" striking pry bar, and a handful of Craftsman rebranded Wilde tools. Never been disappointed.

My 8” flush fastener slip joints are my most used tool (I do a lot of grasping/pulling/bending). They come out for almost every job.

I bought two of those the other day in the smallest size. They are very nice and helped me pry an end bell off an old motor.

I have precisely one Wilde tool: a 15/16 combo. I bought it because of its pattern - the VeeGee pattern made by Thorsen in at least 16 brands, like VS series Snap-On. I'm trying to get at least one example of each brand - only missing two at the moment. (More in VintageTools >> Post Up Your Thorsen)

I have an older Craftsman 24" prybar, not strike cap. Made by Wilde. Also a set of Craftsman retaining ring pliers. Ive praised Wilde's nail sets on here in the past, they were a step above in quality of Dasco, Stanley, and others.

I've given a couple people the 3 pc Craftsman set of strike cap prybars as gifts, and they love them.

I recently grabbed these at Menards. I like the green better than red, lol

Do yourself a favor and get their rolling head prybars, punches, and flush fastener pliers! also if you do any specialty work like transmission stuff with big snap clips, their retaining ring pliers are fantastic.
