Hey, everyone! How y'all doin?

I managed to score a set of Wilkerson air line conditioners at a tag sale and was planning to dismantle/clean/reuse them on the shop air line connected to (or to be connected to) my Champion 80-gallon 5HP compressor... the configuration is all 1/2" threading in the following order:

  • F18-04-SL00 Filter w/manual drain
  • M18-04-BL00 Coalescing Filter w/manual drain
  • R18-04-FO00 Regulator w/oil-filled gauge
SO, my questions are:
  • How do I clean the 5 micron filter in the F18 or do I just order a replacement?
  • How do I clean the 0.5 micron filter in the M18 or do I just order a replacement?
  • Are there any known issues with having a regulator sit unused for years, after being in service for some time? Should I be worried about diaphragm failure or something?
Thanks in advance!

I would just replace the filters. At least that's what we do in the industrial world.
Regulators are easy to take apart and inspect. Usually rust and dirt is the enemy. Inspect the diaphragm for cracks and brittleness, but it's likely OK.
