Will a 220 volt 50 cycle printer work on N/A 240 volt 60 cycle

some years ago I bought a brand new laser printer/scanner/copier at a clearance joint. I discovered it's made for British market . It starts to print then shuts down . probably because of low voltage .
How would it respond to wiring it to a 240 circuit?

Can you open it up and get eyes on the power supply? I’d guess most are not frequency specific.

Read the label. Most computer electronics are 120/240V 50/60hZ. If so, you can plug it into anything and just need a proper cord or outlet adapter. No more transformers like the old days.

The fuser lilely runs on AC power directly. A fuser is basically a hot wire some I don't think it would care.
