Will a muffler make my Mg325 run weaker?

My new MG325 showed up today. Included was a small clump of muffler fabric, and a retention plate. I'm wondering...if I install this muffler material in the gun, will it cause my gun to lose power? Or will it run full strength with or without? If there's no issue, I'm installing the muffler. My hearing is poor enough as it is.

Yes it will, not by much but mufflers restrict air flow, air flow = power My old SO IM6100 used to have one of those flip mufflers and I could usually get like 1/8-1/4 of a turn on bigger stuff with the muffler open. The foam wont affect it as much but it will still take a little away.

p.s. use ear muffs.

A muffler will decrease the power on any impact. Try it out with the muffler and see how it sounds and works. If it is strong enough with the muffler, leave it on. If not, get some hearing protection and take the padding out.

Yes, but I'm not sure if it's enough of a loss to be a problem. I don't have mufflers in either my MG725 or MG325 and the noise doesn't bother me.

WHAT, DID SOMEONE SAY SOMETHING?

All my guns came with a muffler, but have had some co-workers who I wished did, working in an enclosed shop, what's your hearing worth to you?

I have a ew shops ( indoor techs ) that use the muffler kit. The motorcycle shops for some reason ***** about the noise, yet they crank up a harley and rev it to the max. Now that is loud.
