I want to tile my garage in a blue and white checkerboard pattern, the wife thinks it will stain like concrete if I happen to spill something on it. Is that true, and if so can I get an epoxy in Blue and White?

It depends on the tile - VCT, glazed ceramic, quarry?

Any pourous tile will absorb stains. VCT won't as much, depending on what the spill is. There are industrial grade VCT tiles that are more resistant to various substances. Glazed tiles won't, but the grout will unless you use an epoxy grout or seal a cementitious grout.

Since most epoxy systems are squeegeed on, a pattern is going to be more difficult.

It is going to go on my floor in the garage. I was thinking of something like the tile you see in a school or grocery store. I was also at Lowes today and was looking at some of their stuff like the Rustoleum and Quickcrete epoxies, now I just need to find out if they are worth a damn and which is the better of the two.
