will all my tools fit in this SO roller

Ok I have a Craftsman 40" top and bottom box,,,its only like 19" deer...its the red box with the grey drawers...its a 2bay box...8 drawers in the top and 14 in the bottom..
Id like a roller cab only so I can use the top as a bench,,,the used SO is a KRA 11 drawer..40" tall x 24" deep...54" long

so will all my tools in the Craftsman which is fairly full fit in this box ??

well I have full sets of wrenches, sockets, 1/4" drive up to 3/4" drive...6 and 12 pt wrenches, also gear wrenches, screwdrivers etc...id post pics here if there was an easy way
I have the wrenches all organized on curly Q style holders...just wonder if ill miss havig so many drawers

I got a novel idear for ya. Calculate the square inches of drawer space you have for the craftsman and the same for the snappy and if you lay everything flat well then you'll know. I imagine your 8 drawer top box is the kind with 6 small drawers and two full width or is it 8 full width drawers. If it's 8 full width on the top box than no, the snappy will not hold everything flat and organized.

I'd say the short answer is no they won't fit, at least without some stacking. Without knowing the layout of the boxes I can't tell you exactly but my best guess is you'll lose at least 1/3 of your drawer floor space.

If memory serves me right, your combo would be give or take 20,000 cubic inches and sounds like you are describing a classic 78 which I think is about the 24,000 so technically I'd say they'd fit depending on organization. I had a 40" snap on combo with locker packed so full I couldn't put another 10mm socket in it. I went to a krl 1022 which is 54" x 30". It shallower everything and left a junk drawer for papers.

no its got 5 23" wide drawers and 3 12" wide drawers,its a two bay...the 23" drawers top 3 are shallow, the next one deeper, and the last one deep like 4"

Total 7,326

11 X 23 X 50 = 12,650

Basically you'll have about 40% more space to lay out your tools

As far as cubic inches you can take it from there so the SO will get way more of your tools laid then the CM. It's good to be the king

You can obtain a good guess if you compared the storage volume of each i.e. cubic inches of the Craftsman vs. the Snap On box.

The main problem is your going to have an empty old box so you are going to have to buy more tools to fill the old one back up.
