Will curtains slow heat loss while the door is open?

I've finally got some permanent heat in my garage. I don't use it for our daily drivers, but I do store my snowblower in there.

We will soon be getting more snow, so many days I will need to open the 9x7' door to get my walk behind snowblower in and out... some times multiple times a day.

My garage is 14x38' with one door at the end. I was thinking of buying a few vinyl shower curtain liners to use as curtains, and put them about 4' inside the garage door, enough room to have my snowblower between them and the door.

I think this will stop much of the cold air from coming in while the door is opened to get the snowblower out. The door will only be opened a few seconds to get the blower out, then a few seconds to bring it back in. I don't want a permanent wall because I need to be able to still get vehicles in for maintenance.

Does anyone have anything similar or any other ideas?

If you have a decent heater, I wouldn't bother. Just be ready to go with the blower, open the door, take out blower, close door. For that short of a time, it's not worth the hassle of drapes or some other option

All I have is a 5000W ceiling mounted heater, so it takes a while to catch up. Next year won't be as big of a deal because I plan to run a line and install a natural gas heater.
