Have you tried to contact Klien or gone to Home Depot? Are you the original owner? Did you buy them at HD? Original receipt? Have you gone to Klien's website to check their warranty?

Not to be a jerk, but frankly, it's a stupid post/question as written...

I have warrantied Klein screwdrivers at Home Depot. If you have purchased them through Home Depot they will replace them. I didn't have receipt, but did have card with which purchase was made. I have also had them replace linesman pliers and other Klein tools there.

I have actually had them replace stuff I had not purchased there without to much trouble, but it helps if you have made Klein purchases at Home Depot. YMMV.

Good luck.

I am the original owner no I didn't buy them at home depot but website said all of Klein's retailers are required to do warranty replacements. Home depot is the only place I know of where I live that has them. The tips on they're Phillips heads are just soft and I work at a junk yard and have to deal with a lot of rusty screws and crusty stuff and my tools see a lot of use. I have to remove at least 4 engines a day and take off trannies and starters and alternators etc. And put them in they're places plus everything else people need on top that .

Most Electrical Supply Stores carry Klien and will replace if broken and not worn.

When trying to warranty something I think they may decline I wait until I have a large purchase through there. That goes for pretty much any store.

If they carry the same item in the store they should be able to swap it out for you. If not, I think it would be harder and it would be best to try to warranty it though Klein directly. If it was not abused and just broke as a result of a defect it shouldn't be a problem.

Klein requires their dealers to handle warranty replacements.
If HD carries it, I have found that they will happily swap your broken Klein tool at the customer service / returns desk. The down side is that I own a bunch of Klein tools that HD does not carry too. Those would be more difficult, but so far I haven't broken any...

I have gone through Klein phillips screwdrivers latey myself. Three in past couple months. Tips have broken in general usage. They weren't abused. I swapped all of them at Home Depot in the Brentwood, TN area. I have had HD associates tell me they would only do it if the tool had been purchased there, or through the HD network. I have also traded in screwdrivers, linesman pliers, and strippers that belonged to co-workers with no questions asked all over the southeast. Klein strippers aren't worth sh*t. I have returned 8-10 pair in past 1-1/2 because they wouldn't strip wire. They get a burr on cutting edge & will not close. I have had to show my card to prove I had purchased an item 2-3 times, but I have returned much much more than that with no questions asked. At times I have been given a store credit, but just went back to electrical department and used card for replacement tool. It really depends on whom is at return desk on any given day. Once again, YMMV

I keep a sharpening steel around in the shop for just such situations. A few swipes and that burr would be gone and you'd be back in business.

I have had customer service people ask for receipts from all sorts of places. But with a little persistence and a smile, I've never needed one.

Over the last couple of years, I have started to scan all of my receipts for tool purchases, and major Items.

Punch a couple of buttons on the computer, and the printer spits out a picture of the receipt. No vendor has ever argues with the printed copy
