Not sure if snap on will warranty them or not, I would think they would.

But side cutters are not made to cut stainless steel rod. They make bolt cutters and other tools to cut stainless rods. Don't think it was a material defect, more of a mis use of the tool.

I seen that on a hundred pairs of dikes. It's normal wear and tear.

If your snapon man gives you problems send them in for warrantee.... they will rather send you a new pair then send your old ones back and piss you off

In my opinion, and obviously the tools opinion 3.5mm stainless rod shouldn't be cut with diagnols. Use a linemans, bolt cutters, or a number of other tools that can take that kind of cutting.

Yeah, Aunt Mommy told my Uncle daddy that my cousins stepsister boyfriend had a pair of those China built Snap-On pliers but my sister who is now married to uncle daddy say my half brother has the USA ones.

My dealer has ordered a replacement to warranty out my pair.
I have the long handled set and have used them enough over the years they will barely cut a cotter pin off. I asked what the warranty was and he said he would replace them no problem.

You wil get a pair made in China if replaced under warranty

Everyone of your posts I read are about chinese snap on stuff. And you matco dealer telling you something. And your buddy on facebook telliing you something.

Do everyone, including yourself a favor and post some real pictures or proof of what you are always saying instead of just shooting off your mouth. It's called hear-say, or in otherwords bull sh*t.

I'm not calling you a lier but I am saying that what you are saying has no credability behind it until you can prove something.

Tell you matco dealer to drive off the bridge and go figure things out for yourself before posting a bunch of stuff on here all the time to stir things up.

I'm on here to learn about tools and find out from others what my next best tool purchase would be. You are on here to start stuff and copy down your hear say bull **** just to put down snap on. I am not a die hard snap on guy, I believe snap on is a quality tool but I also try to find the best value when buying new tools. But I don't put down snap on everychance I get with some junk information I heard on the web.

POST A PICTURE OF THESE CHINESE SNAP ON PRODUCTS YOU ARE ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT OR SHUT YOUR MOUTH.
