Safety on a "pro" or "union" construction site gets tossed aside as soon as the schedule starts slipping.I think worksite safety is new and really something only for very organized pros, unions etc.
Only you can fix that.I’m not as careful as I should be on my construction site.
Dragging a full size table saw from job to job site, sounds like a drag.I never use a guard on the table saw, but always have a riving knife on unless I'm doing dado work.
I despise those toy "contractor" saws. A real table saw is an incredibly useful piece of equipment. If all I had one one of those toy saws, I wouldn't even bother.
Agreed. But using one of those little toy saws feels like a waste of time.Dragging a full size table saw from job to job site, sounds like a drag.

That's right! This is garage journal by golly! We only use 14-in 480 volt saws around here! Or bigger.I never use a guard on the table saw, but always have a riving knife on unless I'm doing dado work.

No, it does not!Safety on a "pro" or "union" construction site gets tossed aside as soon as the schedule starts slipping.

Have you seen the (relatively) new Festool cordless table saw? It's a tiny little portable slider: https://www.festoolusa.com/products/sawing/table-saw/576821---csc-sys-50-usIf it's not a slider it's a joke. I prefer Martin but I'd settle for an Altendorf in a pinch.
