I would buy it, you can always get your 50 bucks back.

It looks really small for 460 but who knows. If it is truely 460 then you won't be able to use it, I don't know for sure but I don't think you can use phase convertors on welders.

You can use phase converters on welders, however they are insanely expensive. You would end up with more money ******* in the phase converter than an top of the line converter.

took a look, it was not worth it. I lost interest in it when I saw ER 01 engraved on it.

Could have been a 3 phase. The inverter welders are TINY compared to the old technology welders. The job site I'm currently at has a small Lincoln 275A welder that is 480v 3 phase and is about the size of a 120v MIG welder.

I'd still have bought it for $50, even with no use for it at home. I'm sure you could flip the machine and make a couple hundred at least.

ER 01 are navy engravings for Hull Techs. US GOVT property. i'm a navy contractor, having stolen govt property in my possession would lead to loss of clearance and job. if it hadn't been for that, i would've bought it. i know a couple of the welders at work would pay me for it. much nicer to lug that on to the boat instead of the big blue millers. ohh well.
