Hi. I’m dividing my garage attic into storage and man cave/exercise room
I’ve got a propane furnace 35k btu that needs a B vent exhaust
The storage half is uninsulated and open to the roof ridge vent with a mushroom powered fan in the roof. Question is can I vent the furnace to the attic fan say 12 inches below the fan. It has a thermostat adjustable sensor that I can set to turn on when the furnace is running. The makeup air would be thru the gables and ridge vent. Bad, good, ok idea?? The finished half will be insulated and Sheetrock with 9 foot ceiling. I would definitely have a CO detector
Do not want to go thru roof I have strong winds on the front of the garage
(and I’m also scared of heights especially on a two story steep roof)
Thanks
