I ant to add some under floor radiant heat to the bath above the garage. there is baseboard heat in there now, could I break the loop and add 3/4 pex or other tubing to the floor between the joists and return into the loop/Of course there is insulation in the joist bays.

It would be better to run 1/2 pex and just make it a seperate loop, that way you could put a zone valve on it or at least a ball valve so the system could be balanced. In floor and baseboard radiate heat differently so seperate loop and pump would give the best results.
