Will VCT "cover" these?

Will VCT cover or mask these things:

Birdbaths - You know, those little places that are slightly lower on a hand troweled floor, and where water stands? Assuming they are smaller/narrower than a tile, will the glue "fill these in", and cause the resulting floor to be flatter?

Cut stress relief cracks - Mine are filled with Sikaflex, but it has dried and settled ever-so-slightly below the floor surface. Will these be visible through the tiles?

I work for a school system and we have commercial VCT in lots of areas. One school is pretty old and the main hall was not perfectly flat. They put down VCT a few years ago and you can see every dip and high spot own that hall.

I put VCT in a kitchen using two sided carpet tape squares in each corner...worked well, but you can see each square of tape at certain angles. The VCT seems to form well to the surface it is on.

you can't see where i filled my saw cut cracks in my floor, if the sealant is below the floor, just add another thin layer prior to laying vct.
And if you have large dips or imperfections and are worried, use a skim coat of self leveling concrete prior to putting the vct down.
