These are Taiwan, was not aware Williams also made tools in Taiwan. Nothing against that but could they be that much better than HF?

I was about to buy the set and sell off my craftsman stuff till I saw the Taiwan origin
Great deal, and I'm sure they are good, but I'll keep my USA stuff

Those are some pretty nice prices on 3/4" drive. I've seen some nice Proto sets on CL that generally run $150 or so.

Will these work with a breaker bar? If Im reading it right it works with pin retention and "groove".

The general consensus on Williams Taiwan seems to be it is absolute top shelf for Taiwan. Most of the Taiwan stuff is great to begin with, but.

You'll see that it's not the same dies/molds/etc. that all the other places use, which is why half of the Kobalt matches up with HF/Titan/Allied/etc., but Williams own designs. I'm guessing steel quality and QA are also better.

I own a HF 3/4 set and Ive done some stupid things with them and have yet to break one. Admittedly I don't use them all that often but when I do I'm usually abusing them pretty badly. The shear amount of metal in a 3/4 socket makes them pretty stout. Really hard to beat that set for $50 given my experience.

I cant imagine this set being any worse the the HF.
