So, I've seen a lot of talk about the Williams "52" series of ratchets - such as the S-52EHA.

Can someone break down the model numbering for me a bit - i.e. what is "EHA" - I know that "EHLA" = long, "EHFA" = flex? What's the EH and A?

Also, if I'm reading correctly, these are supposedly a Williams-badged/styled version of an earlier Snap-On ratchet?

If that's accurate, are we looking at the 832, the 936, or something older?

best I can figure is m=1/4 b=3/8 s=1/2 the EH (at least in 3/8) was the 32 tooth and the EHA is the 36 tooth version. F= flex and L=long

I picked up a 1/4 3/8 and a 1/2 from a guy off of CL for 20 bucks in hardly used shape and also industrial finish but they really do feel like a snap on ratchet in strength, smoothness fit and finish just overall super nice ratchets. And highly recommend them especially for the price and value they can not be beat.
