Williams Satin finish?

Really liking the Williams SuperCombos that I got in high polish. Looking into a few more bigger sizes which only come in satin.

Is the Williams satin finish a rough type surface like the Craftsman RP or is it a smooth satin?

It's somewhat rough. It's not a smooth tumbled finish like the finish on many German tools. It's more like a rougher, less finished surface. It's closer to the Craftsman Raised Panel wrenches, maybe a little rougher actually.
