A few years ago I was looking for a set of quality screwdrivers and after reading through god knows how many threads/posts ended up with the Williams 6pc slotted and 6pc phillips sets. After 3 years of near daily use around the farm, here's some thoughts:

*I still love these things and they've held up extremely well.

*Both the slotted and phillips drivers fit screws extremely well. Phillips are
getting worn but still stick in a screw horizontally.

*Hex bolsters are awesome, most everything I work on is either old and/or
corroded and they have come in extremely handy. Won't own any more
general use screwdrivers without them.

*Love the larger sizes and longer lengths they include in the sets. I often find
myself using the larger slotted, P3 and P4 drivers.

*Handles are pretty comfortable but kinda awkward for spinning and slippy
when your hands are oily or wet. I actually like that the handles are larger on the bigger
phillips and slotted drivers, I can get 2 hands on them for stubborn screws. Might not
work for you if you have really large hands or like everything perfectly uniform.

*Wish they had taken the time to index all the slotted blades with the logos
on the handles. Still annoys me when I see them lined up and one blade is
slightly off, stupid OCD.

All in all, I'd like to thank you guys who wrote reviews of these things that ended up encouraging me to purchase them, they've certainly been worth it. I'm probably going to get a couple extra heavy duty Wiha MicroFinish and PB Swiss drivers with the hex bolsters to try out. Possibly some Wera Chiseldrivers as well, have some of their bits and love them. I have tried Felo's and been somewhat disappointed, tips are definitely more worn than the Williams with less use. I know there's quite a few options for quality screwdrivers out there but I've put these through their paces and can definitely recommend them.

Nice review! I have the 19pc set and love em. Best for the buck drivers IMO.

I have the 6pc Phillips and 6pc slotted sets as well. Going on 5 years. Zero complaints. And all my slotted drivers are indexed "properly ". I recently did some tool down sizing and sold a few sets but kept these. These are the best drivers out there for the money. I wish they would expand into torx and tamper proof torx. Would be nice to have more snap on quality tools a a quarter of the price like the Phillips and slotted.

Been happy with the Bahco torx I picked up for work. Ever give that a look?

I've been wanting to buy the same set it is Christmas time and may be time to pull the trigger but funds are low from buying gifts for everyone specially the kids but may still buy myself a gift or tell the wife I want them.
I see your looking for Williams kobalt wrenches I collect Williams Kobalt and never found a single one in the wild I have found a bunch of sockets found most at a flea market and cleaned them out I've still been looking for a 3/8 and 1/4 ratchet and breaker bar so hard to find its crazy they made thousands I guess people like them too much to sell or the old men just don't sell thier tools. I've also only found 1 Williams kobalt screwdriver a torx like I said man these tools are tough to find just craziness.

Once upon a time I was working as a sales rep doing all the original Kobalt(USA Williams) tool sets in the Lowes in my region. I don't know if you or anyone else remembers the variety of tools that were originally offered. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up the 6pt wrench sets. At least I ended up with quite a few wrenches(you've noticed some are missing), socket sets and racthets. One of the things I love about the wrenches was their length, especially the double box ones. What I really wanted were the cabinets the sockets used to be stocked in, those things were nice.
