I picked up a Williams tool board last weekend. It is for the B-series 3/8" drive tools. I think it dates to the late 1950's as it has the older B-50 ratchet as well as the newer round-head B-52.

The wire hangers are interesting. When installed, you can see a flange around the base of the wire, I pulled one out, and it has a spiral screw built into the end. Several of the hangers are missing on this board.

Man, if I ever found a tool board, the compulsion to fill it would be almost overpowering.

Nice find! And self-restraint! ;)

As requested, I am posting some more photos of the Williams Tool Board for B-series (3/8 drive) socket tools I recently acquired.

First is a photo of the whole board.
Second is the lower RH corner, showing the ID DB-14 which I assume means Display Board number 14.
Third is the lower RH corner, showing the chrome plated trim with wood filler, and the 3/4" solid-core plywood board cross-section. Since the trim is rusty in places, I feel comfortable in saying it is chrome-plated carbon steel.
Fourth is the first of seven sectional close-ups, this being the lower RH area.
Fifth is the section lower LH area.

Photos continue in the next post.

That's a beautiful board, Provincial! If you hadn't found it, I imagine ORC or myself would have jumped on it - though I'm not sure I'm ready to jump down the Williams tools rabbit hole. For the time being, I use my Williams tools at work.
