I'm hoping some of my GJ friends can give me some feedback on the overall quality and longevity of Williams tool boxes.

I am aware that they are a Snap On industrial brand and the box I'm specifically looking at is made in the USA, I just don't know if I should expect the same level of quality I see in similar SO boxes I'm looking at. I do know it's a massive cost savings in this case.

Box I am looking at is the W40RC7. Compare with the SO KRA4107.

Looking forward to the feedback from my fellow GJers.

(Sorry. I know that this is an older thread. But, I would really like to hear what people have to say about these boxes.)

Tools Delivered has them currently for $1,146 plus s/h. Is it worth the money?

The Snap-on KRA series is really no better than any other maker. It is lighter than the real boxes. The Williams is even lighter yet and has only about 2/3 of the weight capacity. In this case I think you are better off going to Harbor Freight. And believe me, I am no fan of HF.
