I just found out we have a motion Induestries in my home town. I am going to ease down there to get some of the Williams premium screwdrivers. I also have some cash burning ahold in my pocket. So, the question is -what is you favorite William(s) tools? And more importantly, which do I need?:rocker: I play around on the weekends with a couple of old cars so I tend to piddle but I want good tools.

PS-did,I say burning a hole in my pocket?

I have tons of Cman sockets, some SnapOn and Craftsman premium ratchets. I am seriously thinking of switching over on some of my stuff. Has anyone used their tool boxes?

Williams sockets aren't anywhere near Craftsman price...

They are close, when you buy like sets.
Example, Craftsman 34545 9pc 3/8 drive, 6pt, deep socket set $29.99
45867 11mm deep socket $4.99
45865 9mm deep socket $4.99
I can't find a craftsman 8mm deep socket, but lets assume it is the same price as the 9mm @ $4.99
Total for a craftsman 12pc, 3/8 drive, 6pt socket set is $44.96

A Williams MSBD-12HRC 12pc 3/8" drive, 6pt deep socket set is $47 new on ebay and $56 from amazon.

The more craftsman you buy the cheaper it gets, where that is not the case with Williams. When you try to match craftsman sets with the sets from Williams they come to about the same price.

I'm only taking about sockets. Wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers and pretty much anything else will be much more expensive then craftsman.

Another vote for Supercombo wrenches. Hands down the most comfortable beam profile I've experienced. Also the USA ratchets are top notch (essentially rebadged SO 936's for a fraction of the cost).
