Anybody using Williams wrenches? I'm interested in buying this set of the red finish to add to my collection. What type of finish are these and will they hold up other option is snap on 11 piece 3/8-1" industrial finish at 472$?

I'm wanting to separate my metric from saw as I'm horrible at putting things away lol and I figure if I get bright red wrenches for field work they would be easier to keep track of plus their different everybody I know has chrome will the Williams compare to the flank drives? Thanks alot

Man for that money I'd buy a used snap on set and spray paint them red with engine enamel for 1/4 the cost that price is crazy for mediocre wrenches, hell you can pay to have them powder coated for still less than that price. GL

Have you thought about Proto ASD satin finish comb wrenches. I use them and like them better than Snap-on chrome for field use.

I would like some different wrenches also for field use, but in the same size for doing hydraulic connections. Sometimes you need two 1" wrenches or two 1 1/16" wrenches

I like the made in USA raised panel Craftsman but that is a thing of the past, so I might try some Gray satin chrome in larger sizes.

Williams Supercombos are BADASS I have the metric set. I think the Red / SAE is a good idea. Thickest wrenches Ive ever seen.

I have a set of yellow Supercombos. I'm guessing the finish is some sort of powder coat or paint. Either way it's not terribly durable and if I hadn't bought the set for about half of what a set of chrome Supercombos would have cost I would have just bought chrome wrenches.

Thanks guys one of the joys of living in Canada eh all our stuffs way over priced and our dollar is next to worthless :lol_hitti

Glad to hear from some supercombo owners I figured they would be nice wrenches only other wrenches I would consider is the mac knuckle savers I have a few old ones that feel great in my hands unfortunately for me mac is a dying bread and I dont feel like doing mail order repairs

My other reason for considering Williams is my driver will get them and warrenty them for me even my Williams black handle screwdrivers I didn't buy from him he will warrenty with snap on shanks idk if thats normal or if he just likes to keep me happy and buying things but I don't complain

The Williams brand super combo wrenches are an excellent brand,I've compared mine to my Proto ASD,they are beefier but both brands work well.I would probably be a bit concerned the red finish might not hold up.Thats why I passed on the color and got chrome.Just sayin.
