I bought a set of JH Williams BXOE wrenches off ebay and was wondering if anybody has anything positive or negative to say about them?

I couldn't find any information off of William's website so I'm assuming that they are not in current production (the only ones listed are the Supercombo wrenches.)

that's interesting. They certainly don't look like the Supercombo's, with their undercut open end. The wrenches you bought look to me to be very similar to Snap-ons OEX series.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and impressions on them when you get them.

It's interesting to note that there's no year mark on the pictured wrench. But, I'm not even sure if all Williams wrenches are supposed to come with year marks. :headscrat

Funny, I also thought that these wrenches resembled the OEX series as well. I'm really looking forward to receiving these.

This other Williams eBay listing has the date 9/30/02 on the box label.

The results are in...

Overall, these are very very similar to Snap-on's OEX series. Biggest difference is the BXOE box end was slightly thicker than the OEX.

Anyone else have info on these wrenches? I have several kicking around and since I do so little with SAE was thinking of selling them. I have wrenches BXOE-26, BXOE-28, BXOE-30, BXOE-32, BXOE-34 and BXOE-40.
