So I am going through and restoring this old wilt-o-matic. The laundry list of repairs is long. However after looking at some catalogs on here I am confused. I found that they have one point for the attachment of the hose but I have one and what looks like a damaged part below it on the casting or something any insight would be helpful.

I've had a lot of Wiltons but never one of those, sorry I can't help.

In the main tool section there is a huge thread called the vises of garage journal, I'd also post your vise over there. Someone here will have your answer.

Is that a Weim in your avatar?

Not much help either, yet. This Reddit post has some diagrams etc which may help. I personally know nothing

yeah that’s my Weimaraner. I actually skimmed the previous posts but was hoping someone could tell me if this can be safely drilled out or welded up.

You only need one air connection and the broken piece looks like a 1/4" pipe ******. Use a pipe ****** extractor and replace it with a pipe plug and you should be good to go, hopefully.

The Wilton Wiltomatic vises are very rare, especially yours with the "Chicago" casting and a working unit would be quite valuable these days. Good luck with your restoration and please post some more photos of your project as you progress.
