I’ll take pics tomorrow. It’s a vintage machinist vise. Can’t find anything here, on vintage machines, or on vintage vices sites. Modern equivalent is the 6 inch and it has the swivel base. https://wiltontools.com/vises/machine-vises/milling/verti-lock-vises/
The numbers stated are stamped on the bottom and the 1824 is on a screwed-on plate. There’s a punched number on the removable sliding jaw…AND and small shim too!
