I have a Wilton 1765 in unused condition. There is a tiny bit of surface rust on the bare surfaces, and a paint blemish or two, but that's it. It looks like it has never been used or mounted. No slop at all, and jaw alignment is absolutely perfect.

Everyone knows what these look like, but here are some pics of the actual item.

I would keep it, but I already have one exactly like it mounted to my workbench... Even still, I'm tempted.

$250 firm for local pickup... Currently in Willowbrook, IL, but I can also bring it to my house in Libertyville.

Wow that's nice. You sure you won't drive that to California for me? Heh heh.

If I had two of these like you do, I'd mount one either end of my bench, and have a supervise when using both. Heck with two vices and some angle arn you could make yourself a mondo sized metal brake!

drool, the vise I'm saving for...I would be all over that if I was in your neck of the woods.

That is an extremely attractive deal, I don't have the money sadly, but I will ask a couple of my buddies if they have any interest.

I am not sure of the size but I had a similar shipping problem last year. Took it apart and shipped it in 2 large flat rate boxes for around $20.

The big part of this vise will not fit in a large FRB. The large FRB is $15 now, by the way.
