My DP is howling so I'm trying to get to the bearings. It's a Wilton 2015 I believe. It's the 20" model with the variable speed which is accomplished via two vs pulleys and a wide belt.
I removed the top bearing and found the grease has dried to a crumbly and hard mess. The next bearing, under the front drive pulley, isn't so easy to remove. I see no set screws etc that hold the bearing yet I've not been able to pry up the pulley/bearing from the casting. There is no way to use a puller. Maybe a large bearing splitter would work but I'm asking here before I at attempt this.
Anyone with this DP and more info than I've got?
