Is there any place where I can pick up a good one? On the one I have it wasn't treated very well and is oblong from rust/wear. Baring that - any way to replace just the handle? (Screw is in good shape

Thanks! I had found his page but I didn't see a spindle/handle for 3" bullet. I see if I can contact him via website

As I recall he only lists a few on his Wiltonviseparts.net website and if you follow the link to his other site that gives more detail on the handles, he lists the diameter steel he can buy as well as more pricing info.

Short version...if you know the length and diameter of your current handle, that's all you really need.

I wish I could put one of Kevin's handles on every vise I restore...they're incredibly well made, and the material is better than the factory handles!

DM: do you have pictures of your vise's handle cause i can't see in my mind what an oblong handle might look like? i bet Kevin's handles are great and maybe they are better material, but some vises engineering had the vise handles a certain length and type of material so the vise handle would bend before breaking the vise.

if you decide not to buy a new handle some members just put their vise handles in a press or even take it out of the vise and beat on it with a hammer to get it back to straight. depends on your budget and how you want your vise to look.

thanks for the pictures if you have time to take and post up a few
