I found a Wilton 4" Bullet vise on Facebook that I could pass up. It's missing the jaws, has a hole in the round slide. It also has a broken off piece beneath one of the jaws. The main reason I got it was for the swivel base. The base is complete with only a bent handel on one of the hold down nuts. Even with the hole on the tube it works just fine. I need the base for my C1 Vise. Not sure what to do with this vise, maybe put some soft jaws on it. I paid $25 for it, the base alone is worth over $100.PSX_20221112_185540.jpgPSX_20221112_185606.jpgPSX_20221112_185621.jpg

Here's close up of the damage, not sure how to fix it without a welder. Looks like someone tried to repair it, maybe they used JB Weld. It does slide in and out just fine.

I'd list the extras that you don't need on eBay/here or the like, as there are parts there that would complete someone else's project even that damaged dynamic jaw, it is better than none or a poorly welded broken jaw. Just food for thought. Harry

I think I can make a good usable vise minus the swivel base I'm using for my C1 vise. I stripped it down to bear metal, other then the damaged slide and some battle scars its in fine shape. All I need is some vise jaws to make it a usable vise. The lead screw is in great shape and it slides in and out just fine. I may use some JB Weld to patch the damaged area.
