Been looking for a while for a decent deal on a bullet vise. Picked this one up yesterday. Asking price was $300 but they took $260 cash. Stamped 80 on the bottom of the key so I assume it is a 1980ish model. How did I do?
I am not sure this is a 400S. The jaws are 3.5" wide but it opens to over 6.5" so its not a 350S I don't think. The 400S should have 4" wide jaws though. I don't know. It's a vise...

My Wilton 350S vise bears a number 101160 on the side of the casting,
What numbers are on yours?

I can’t make out the number from your photo. It doesn’t look anywhere close.

Mine has 101160 on the left rear jaw. 101161 on the left front jaw. And upside-down on the right A1880J. Must be a 350S. I wound it all the way out so probably a working perimeter of 5.25". Thanks.
