I recently was given a USA made Wilton 5” bench vice and I’m not sure what the numbers stamped on the bottom mean (121060)? Also, it needs a locking spindle that’s missing. Any suggestions on how to refurbish this properly? Thanks!

That is just a part number for that particular part. Can you just put an acorn nut on that swivel bolt to lock it down? Some guys here fab their own. Might look at the vise repair thread.

The acorn nut for a swivel lock is a good idea. That’s what I did for a Wilton C1 that I got when it was missing both lock downs. If you want shiny parts, get a stainless steel acorn nut.
