I bought this vice at an auction. It is marked Wilton 654, 4 inch, made in USA. It has brass jaws on it now, and I'd like to get some steel jaws. The problem is that I cannot find ANY mention of a Wilton 654 anyhwere, and the jaws are 4.5 inches wide (even though it is marked as a 4 inch).

Does anybody know where I can get some steel jaws? Will jaws from another model work?

At least give this model number a try. (stock number 11126....I think)

It really looks like my Columbian. I wonder if the conglomerate is rebadging Columbians as Wiltons? Check the jaw screws. My Columbian has metric screws! I bought it new in the early 1980's.
