Wilton 9350 rest, finally done

well i finally had a chance to finish the resto of my Wilton 9350 bullet, well actually not completely done, i still need to shoot a coat on the swivel base, only thing left. for the most part all done,

here a few b4 and after photos, i think the color came out pretty nice and clear

DING DING DING, winner winner chicken dinner, i couldn't decide on a color so i said heck lets see what it would look like with clear coat only, and it looks well seasoned

Squat little thing, isn't it? I really like the clear. I have waxed a few vises and rather like the "natural" look.

hey thanks mjozefow, i was amazed by the difference in color just btween the natural look vs my clear look

Very industrial looking! It is almost a "steampunk" appearance.

i forgot to take pics of the repaired tail piece, that i had damaged , but the JB weld worked just fine

i wrapped tape around the pin, inserted the pin into the damaged area, then filled the area with a small dab of JB weld, smoothed it out, and let dry, then simply removed the pin, the tape allow the JB weld to form to the shape, of the pin , and not adhere to it
