Just got my Wilton 9400 completed. I got a lot of help from information received from Kevin Scott on how to fabricate swivel lock-downs. Here are a few pics -- a before pic, some after pics and a couple of the fabricated swivel lock-downs. thanks Kevin for your help.

That is a fancy vise there! Also glad to hear another member helping another. That to me, is what this place is all about.

I could not read the date on the bottom. It was too faint to read. I tried everything I could think of -- even tried a younger set of eyes and that didn't work either.

Beautiful lock-downs, but how did you make the bar ends?? They look too good to be hand-peened.

Sorry for the delay in responding, been away for a while. The bar ends were peened much like Kevin Scott described and then were dressed down in a lathe. It didn't take very long at all to do them and it made them look pretty good. Thanks.
