Pretty sure it's only one, at least that's the way i interpreted it. But a plane jane el-cheepo drill press vise is $15-20 bucks, and Wilton did have a pretty good rep.

Delivery date is the 25th, will post first impressions.....

Based on the amazon description, I would say there should be 6.

For about the same price you can get an imported Cman that looks like it has some better features. We use one of them at work and it gets the job done.

Got mine today. It is actually a Columbian 69998 with a Wilton label over the UPC code on the box. The vise says Columbian. For $37 I am happy with it.

Ordered on the 21, received on the 23. Well pleased - well worth the $37.00. May go back and get another, one for the drill press, one for the mill. Nah, can't use both machines at once. :bounce:

how did I miss this deal until today? Im slippin. Either way I ordered up 2 since I have a drill press for wood and one for metal. cutting oil will ruin the finish of a nice wood project and cleaning would be a hassle considering the cheap price on these.

Funny thing is, the website still says there are two left even though thats what it said before I bought them

Fit and finish is no better than the HF drill press vise but for the price, you can not beat it. Not only is it a good brand(Columbian), read the green capsule near the bottom, it has a Lifetime Warranty :willy_nil

Ummm... Columbian isn't a "good brand"... That company is long gone out of business and a Chinese firm purchased the name and is selling cheap junk now under that brand. Those of you that purchased this vise did not get a quality item.

For 10-12 dollars more, you can get one with the angle indicator.

Not really a good value. I'll pass.

Put it to use - was sitting on the drill press and I only used it a couple times to hold some small stock to hacksaw.....until yesterday. Then it went over to the "mill".....

Nope! I don't need to get a kick to the balls to know its gonna hurt...

Columbian vises are (unfortunately) just run of the mill Chinese vises now. Not a quality item.

I am sure its probably worth the $37.00 but I wouldn't want to bet my azz on a $37.00 vise to not fail during use.

Think this vise will do me just fine, with my limited use. Worth $37? A big yes from me.

Noticed on Amazon that the page in no longer there. Only place that I could locate is Granger, for $142.65!

grainger.com/Grainger/COLUMBIAN-Drill-Press-Vise-24U990?cm_mmc=CSE:priceGrabber-_-Machining-_-Machine Tool Accessories-_-24U990&srccode=cii_5784816&cpncode=31-134027290-2

Does anyone know what the extra machine screws and threaded "receivers" are to used for?
