Ladies & Gentlemen:
I need some advice on the Wilton BASH hammers. I am going to place a stocking order for BASH hammers, but I need some advice of which ones you think would be the most popular. This is NOT a marketing ploy, but I truly need some advice on these of which sizes/weights are the most popular to everyone.

Here is the link to the Wilton-Bash website. It has all the products listed.

Here is the product selector. Put in your specs and it generates a part number.

Part numbers and descriptions would be helpful to me.

Mike

I have the 12# 36" sledgehammer. Expensive, but a really nice hammer. Handle is comfortable and the weight seems pretty well balanced. Probably a tad overpriced for what it is, but I'm happy with it.

I've got two wilton hammers, the 16" 4lb sledge and the 24oz ball peen. They are both very nice hammers, as stated before a little expensive but i would buy them again if i had to definitely worth it.

I have a couple and they were spendy but nice hammers. I accidentally got a soft face sledge hammer and the thing is almost worthless if you ask me.

At least 2 size ball peins, 3 depending on who you are marketing to. I like a real small one to tap stuff and a big *** one to really convince stuff. Its nice to have one for every day tasks though just to nudge stuff. I believe my 3 are 36 ounce, 24 ounce, and a 10 maybe 12 ounce.

I also love using a cross pein I think mine is 2 or 2.5 lbs

And you cant go wrong with a mini sledge in the 3-4 lb range. Dont get a handle less than 16". Drilling hammers **** unless you are drilling and seem to be a great way to smash knuckles into other parts

Srmofo. man, you nearly made me wreck from laughing so hard while reading that. Convince stuff... classic.

My favorite hammer is a 16 inch 4 pound wilton bash best hammer ive ever had! Also have a 12 pound and its to much, I usually borrow my coworkers 8 pound wilton and its perfect. Like others said a variety of ball peins would be good also I use a 24 oz 80 percent of the time I need a ball pein

I got a 2012 (2.5 lb, 12", Hard Face)...nice little hammer.
Pro's...heavy duty, nice handle, just has that "well built" feeling to it.

Con's...I'm not a huge fan of the head/face design...cant really put my finger on it, but long story short, if they had the "Traditional" head design like the cross peen has on the one end, I probably be happier.

I also feel the handle on the little 2.5lb is a bit oversize, if they trimmed the thickness down a bit I think it would be better to handle. a 40oz hammer isn't a grab with both hands and give 'er hell type of hammer. If the handles on the Ball Peen's are the same I wouldn't buy a single one. I find myself reaching for my old fashioned 3lb wood handle or SnapOn 32oz Dead Blow Ball Peen more often because of the handles.

I do think I will eventually get a 20830. In terms of "true" Sledge hammers...I think from what I've seen and felt at the local industrial supply store, the BASH is king of the hill. I'd just say away from the smaller "one handed" sizes.

I am a little confused but that is sometimes par for the course, way back a long time ago I bought three different ball-peen hammers from wilton I seem to remember the coo as coming from South Africa but they were not called "bash hammers" but they sure look like the above hammers.

Did Wilton make a brand new product that I am unaware of?

fixed it for you! drilling hammers are gayer than Richard Simmons in a thong at a pickle smooching contest.

I like longer hammer handles the what most come with.

The bash hammers LOOK like a quality unit.

I like ball peens in all different sizes.

I have per bash wiltons and so far they have been indestructible as advertise. I have two ball pains, 8 lbs 16" handle and the big 13 lbser. No complaints. If I was shopping again, I would look at nupla and compare offerings.
