Just ordered a set. Reviews of the China made vise are mediocre, but the hammers are what I'm after.

This sounds like 2 hammers sicnce there are 2 measurements :"12 in. Hammer + 4 lbs. 16 in. Sledge Hammer"
The picture also shows 2 identical hammers?

The worded item description only seems to indicate (to me) that there is one hammer.

The vise is listed as "general purpose bench vise" but there is bullet that says "Fits a standard 2 in. hitch"
Doesn't look like a receiver mounted vise to me?

Without knowing, I would have bought one anyway, but sold out. If someone gets it, post up what you actually receive, or a picture.

Generic picture but the description seems pretty clear to me:

Just received the set. Not a great deal after all.

The vise is cheaply made and finished like I expected.

There is no 16 inch sledge hammer!! Wtf Home Depot?

I may end up returning or selling it.

And yeah, I don't know why the link has redirects.

A machinist friend of mine has that vise on a bench. It is so bad he only uses it to clamp tool holders when loading his CNC machines---and it keeps coming loose virtually in seconds while tightening screws. Total garbage.

I think I have that hammer- or one similar. And I believe I paid more than $57 for it. It is nice, but you didn't get what you thought...

My vise was delivered yesterday with only one 12” hammer. I was about to contact Home Depot to see if they’d give a partial refund but another package showed up today with the 16” 4lb hammer. They’re nice hammers and worth the $57 alone, the vice is a bonus. Thanks to Stuart at Toolguyd.

A year later and the price is 858! Yeah, their Tradesman line is the stuff you hand down to your kids or grandchildren. Super nice stuff. On the bright side, Wilton has a lifetime guarantee on that BASH vise. So if it’s **** and breaks, they’ll fix it.

That's over $900 after tax, which I thought was laughable. Yet the "XC" version with the fancy paint job is $200 more!
