Wilton bullet - help identifying model # and finding part #'s

Picked this 4" vise up from a couple who frequent auctions and it needs a little love. I'm pretty sure it was a swivel base vise but the swivel and two locking dogs are missing. One of the jaws is a block of steel someone appears to have fabricated.

On the slide on the bottom of the dynamic jaw there is a faint stamping that says either 2 Z 70 or 2 Z 76

The castings have 101157 on the fixed jaw and 101158 on the dynamic jaw.

Can anyone help me find the part #s for a swivel base and the two locking dogs and any other parts I need to get it back to swivel mode? (Am I correct in thinking this was originally on a swivel base?). Do I need anything other than the base and dogs?

Also, what model is this? Don't suppose there's a online fiche somewhere showing exploded parts diagrams?

several versions of the Wilton bullet were sold without a swivel base on them so you can just bolt to a bench or a stand. use the money you would have paid for the swivel and make a really nice stand for it? hard to tell from your pictures if any broken pieces off the jaws and how much of the one side's jaw is new, but they do look a little different than normal.

What you have is a Wilton 400...

If it had the swivel base, which are available, it would be a 400S...

Damn nice vise!!!

The 450SJ has extra parts associated with the swiveling jaw...

It has a broken jaw support on the static side and maybe a repair in bronze?

I'm not sure if that's an optical illusion or not, but once I get the paint sandblasted off Ill know for sure

Wilton 400N. Does look like your jaw support is broken off, which isn't uncommon. Still a nice vise.

On my bench...

Here's a picture of another 400N I had with a broken jaw support. Just clean it up under the jaw with a grinder and use it for another 40 years...

You now have a real nice medium sized Wilton, which will last another 50 years, before it needs another restoration....

Yup, pretty tickled with it. I've got a swivel base coming for it that I hope fits. (New grandson on the way in August so this one will go on his toolbox when he's old enough). Just need to find a 5" or 6" to restore!
