I didn't take any before pics, but ya'll know what they look like, completely crusty and rusted up. I disassembled and bead blasted it. Hammer tone grey paint because no one seems to carry the emerald green/grey color any more. I cleaned up the jaws and anvil area a bit. All bare surfaces are coated in this waxy "PB corrosion stop" product I've found very useful for bare metal protection. Greased the screw, pivot base and main shaft with axle grease.
For a 40 plus year old vise I am blown away how much nicer it is than my previous cheap import Wilton. It's going to replace it on my fab table for everyday use. It less than a quarter turn of backlash, the newer import has 1 full turn!
