Found a good deal on a 9300 bullet today and when I put it on the bench next to my C1, the size difference is amazing! Looks like a baby bullet sitting up there!

I'd mount the little guy to a portable stand that you can move over to the garage door. Would be great for sharpening blades or any other dirty work.

TXN: now all you need is a C2 to really dwarf your C1. the C series Wilton vises might be the best vises Wilton makes (made). the 9300 is also a great vise and since you have one almost in new condition find a spot for it. BTW can you post the date stamps on the Wilton Date stamping thread and here's the link?

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=269079&highlight=wilton+date+stamp

while you are on that thread you might take a look at the 100's of other Wilton vises there.

just an FYI the C2 weighs over 100 pounds and the C3 weighs over 200 so sizes on the bigger vises really get big.

For home shop, I like the combo vise. I currently have a Craftsman Pro vise, poorman's Bullet vise, and the pipe jaws are very useful, but I want a C0 if I can ever find one around here.

How about the size difference between two 5" Wiltons...

The small one is a 1755...

The huge one is a 500N...
