Greeting GJ. I am looking for a handle for a 1984 Wilton C2. I don’t need the whole spine assembly, just a handle. Does anyone know who might have or make one?

Wilton now sells them, called a Tommy bar. No clue on exact sizing or strength.

They only sell 3 of them under the name Tommy bar, and they're for the tradesman series. Wilton's website is a joke and there are no pictures or specifications listed for any of them, so it's impossible to know whether they would be similar enough in thickness or length to fit a C2. You might be able to get someone with a tradesman to measure for you. They are priced differently, and it seems they are sold to accompany the 5, 6, and 8 inch "xc" series tradesman vises respectively. Perhaps they're different?

It looks like you can get the whole handle and spindle assembly but they're not cheap.

I'd call wilton and ask for specs then. Otherwise you'll have to make one or have it made.

I can't imagine how many people he'll be passed around to, until he finds the one with the answer - if he ever does.

My 5 1/2" Tradesman has a handle that I made for it, measures at 0.638, the original may have been 5/8". Can you measure the hole in the spindle hub?

For my Reed 106, I just found a post here where someone listed the specs, didn’t need to ask, just made a zombie come alive.😱

Oh, and the bar stock and balls both arrived on Tuesday this week.

I called them for specs on these quite a while back and the first lady I got had them right there.

I have a couple C-2's. The late model C-2 handle measures .75" X 14" (the earlier Chicago model is .68" X 13")

The handle should be easy but the end caps will be tough.

Is the OP's missing or just bent and they want to replace it? They might not need the specs if it's still there.
