Hello all,
I finally found a Wilton C2 for sale on my local Craigslist, and was about to jump on it, but there is an issue with it I wanted to run by the experts here first.
I don't have pictures yet, so this may be difficult to explain, but here goes:
The dynamic jaw tower is not securely fastened to the cylindrical slide, and it can rotate slightly clockwise. It is easy to wiggle by hand, and when clamping the vise closed, the jaw tower rotates and won't align properly. Also, the jaw inserts do not touch; the pipe jaws hit first and prevent full closure. I'm not sure if that means anything, just throwing it out there.
How are these two parts secured together when the vise is built? It does not appear that anything is broken, so I'm hoping the two pieces were just pressed together or something, and can be pressed back together.
I am working on getting pics ASAP. I didn't have my camera on me when I checked the vise out, so the seller is supposed to send some today. Thanks!

: without seeing it in person or good pics it would be difficult to tell what happened and thus what all it would take to repair it, if feasible.
