I got a wilton c3 im selling, just to much for what I need. I great shape for its age. Never been outside and spent its life in a small maint shop. I know how much these are cherished and how much there worth. I dont need it so im asking $600.00 In doing my research, it shouldnt last long at this price, but i guess we'll see. I prefer local pickup (I live in Wichita KS) cause this thing is like 230lbs, and shipping would be around 300 bucks or more! If you want to arrange shipping then ill do what ever I can to help. Thanks for looking!

I see a nut where I am expecting to see a sliding bar type handle, I am not an expert on old Wiltons, so does it pivot on its base if you loosen those nuts?
I am Interested.

Thanks,

Alot of times Wilton put nuts to lock down the base. Its hard to imagine how big a C-3 is unless you've seen one. Swivel handles didn't always tighten that vise to the base for extra heavy work. That C-3 I believe has the 2 piece front jaw assy. With that stand, I think your right in there with price or close. Thats a very nice set up for someone out fitting his new shop.

I gave my encyclopedia, I mean Father, a call about the Wilton and got a crash course on all things vise. In the process I may have secured dibs on his old Prentiss. If this falls through I will reply back.
Very nice vise you have there.

Thank you my good man!

Guys, 2 things, the condition of the anvil which looks squared off nicely and how nice those big jaws align up. I sold a 400S 2 weeks ago for over $325 with no stand and that wasn't 1/2 of vise as this one.

How does that thing even stand up with the giant chunk of steel on top of that teeny-tiny base?!

It was bolted down to the shop floor, it is a beast though. every time I go to tilt it to slide it across my garage, it surprises me in how heavy this thing is! I have to make a super mean face to move it!
