Wilton Cadet 8140 need spindle nut

Looking for a spindle nut for the Wilton Cadet. The one I have has broken casting. Will not thread the screw without a lot of effort.

Have you considered taking it to a local machine shop and see if they can’t tune it up ( or make a new one) for you?
