So I have a couple of old Vice's & for no reason other then "I wanted it" I bought a Wilton 1750. Paid probably way too much for it on eBay, but I have it now just the same.

It came with a complete coverage paint job in red & below the red instead of finding some of the hammered green color that most are it is Yellow.

Did Wilton ever rebrand these to anyone other then Snap-On?

I was already planning to paint it yellow after blasting it, so its kinda cool that it was yellow before, and it would be even cooler if I could find a name plate/sticker from the original brand if it came yellow.

The date code on mine shows 9 93 if that helps at all. And it does have the Made in USA on it.

Wilton offered "High-Visibility" vises in a bright yellow color. They would have had the same WILTON name plate as the green ones.

If its the same neon pea green color that comes up when I google Wilton High Visibility Vise then thats definitly not it.

I will try to snap a picture, but its definitly much more of a catarpillar yellow.

It seems like it very well may of been stripped & then repainted yellow, then repainted again red.

Call Wilton support and they will send you a new set of stickers for free.

Bastage & ALL: I know Wilton made tradesman vises with not only SNAP ON, but John Deere and several other big companies. I think I remember them doing a yellow vise with a black label for some company, but pretty sure it wasn't CAT or CATAPILLAR. sorry I don't have the pictures i saved cause it's on a dead laptop, but I bet they were posted on the big vise thread maybe in 2014 or 2015.

anybody know of another big company that has Yellow as it's primary color that might have paid Wilton to make vises for them?

post up a few pics if you can.
