Wilton No. 3 Vise SOLD
I have too many vises. I rebuilt this vise for myself, then realized that I have too many. So, this no. 3 Wilton is for sale for $100 shipped via Priority Mail and insured. SOLD
It's been disassembled, cleaned and bead blasted. The body of the vise was painted with Rustoleum Hammer finish. The handle is slow rust blued (the same way fine double shotguns are blued). The threads were lubed with Molykote and the sliding surfaces were lubed with motorcycle chain wax. I could not find a date on this vise. The three inch jaws, while nowhere near perfect, are very usable. They are serrated, instead of checkered. Note that someone has ground a flat on one side of the base.
