I have never looked inside the spindle nut on a Wilton bullet and the 2 I had have sold so I have no vise to compare it to but are the threads supposed to run the full length of the nut? I just noticed the one I am working on from 1977 only has threads part of the way down. It does not look like they are worn out. Funny but I was thinking that the long fully threaded nut was part of what made it so strong
