Wilton Pow-R-Arm 343 varainces?

Ok Wilton gurus, I was cleaning up a pair of power arms jrs (343) last night and ran across this; two units, same model with two different variances:

• The brass "cup" is totally different in size from one to the other, see pic
• The top cupped dome w/slot for arm on one, seems to be fixed and not loose? IE; one comes apart, the other will NOT separate, it may be frozen but I have soaked and sprayed it with all kinds of penetrant and it will not come apart?

Did they make different parts for these even thought they are the exact same model?


Edit: I called wilton and verified that YES over the years they have been changes made in the manufacturing process and yes this is normal, I would have deleted this thread but that option was not possible.
