Seems a bit high for that vise. I don't think it is as much as an antique as the owner does.

I agree. Just because its old, doesn't mean its an antique. Also, it is not the bullet style that seems to get the high resale value. Decide what you need and how much you want to spend. I just sold a Wilton 5" non-bullet, on astand for 1/3 that price. It was a good solid use it every day vise- not a show piece..
